Finally seeing livelier prints and colors again on this blog. Told you I'm going to work on them again. They may not be the colors of summer but at least they're more refreshing compared to my previous outfits and the top I'm wearing's the color of the year. :)

When wearing jeans, dress up a bit by choosing shoes and accessories which will make the outfit more attractive and striking. Though the color of my top here is bold and its cut is eccentric, it still looked boring without accessories and right pair of shoes.

Isn't the color of my nails so yummy? :) I had my nails done after I took my outfit photos so I don't know if you noticed that my nails are still reddish brown/brownish red/maroon/whatever above. I love how my new polish complimented my outfit.

A Hole In The Sky

I don't want to cause you guys any further confusion so no, the title doesn't have anything to do with my outfit. I now understand the can't-think-of-a-title problem bloggers get. I'm now reading the book Beautiful Creatures and currently on the "A Hole In The Sky" chapter. Yeah, that's the only reason why. :)

Familiar top, yes? I think this is the second time this polo top makes its appearance in my ootd posts. I got this few years back and I'm still keeping it in my closet though I really find it hard to mix and wear with other pieces. Styling it is very tricky, I sort of don't like its fit, the fabric is too light and it's not my type of loose tops to wear. I've been actually having second thoughts of keeping it but I think it's perfect whenever I opt for laid-back outfits.

I'm no expert but I don't see much limitations when it comes to fashion. Ways of wearing clothes and accessories are endless, palawakan lang ng imagination and creativity :p We usually tuck in our tops when paired with skirts especially when they are loose or sort of lengthy for a certain outfit but for a change, I opted to show off the top as it is and just used a belt to improve its form and gussy it up with the belt I chose because of its colour and gold detail. :) 

As I've mentioned in my previous post, no matter how dull the colours of the clothes I wear in an outfit, I still make sure to at least wear lively ones in my accessories. Notice that the accessories and pair of shoes I'm wearing have matching colours? And a shade in my bag matches with my top? It's one of the not-really-"rules" when it comes coming up with an outfit especially when working with several colours :)

Okay honestly, it feels like my blog is back from the dead. It's been almost three weeks since my last post and a month since last outfit post. I really make it to a point to update this blog at least once a week but school won't allow me to do so. :( It's March already and I'm sure everybody's been busy since maybe start of the year meeting school requirements so I guess I don't have to do so much explaining for the unintended sort-of-dead-air. Nonetheless, I am so happy to know that people are still viewing this page though it's somehow outdated. :)

I know, I know summer is approaching I am in a outfit with such neutral, gloomy and earthly colours. Good thing it's only on its way. Come summer and I swear and try to avoid wearing these colours and make colourful and happy outfits. :) 

This outfit revolved around this colour-blocked skirt I scored from LK's booth last BU4. Of all the unhappy colors, brown (in any shade) would be one of my favourites though I find it hard to style and pair with other pieces. I shall learn how to mix shades of brown with lively colours soon! :) So for this outfit, I wore black plain top and and shoes just to be safe and to keep things simple. :)

Of course I won't think of an outfit without wearing lively colors in even the tiniest pieces and accessories. Have you seen my Instagram photo of these bracelets? I chose those words for my customised accessories from Anagon to remind me two of the most important things to me. :) Yup, I just incorporated faith and service with fashion, haha! Also recognised the bracelet I was wearing here? I'm wearing it here as a necklace now. Don't you just love when you can wear a single piece in many ways? :)

Isn't it obvious that this is by far my most abused pair of flats yet? I mean MOST abused because I wear the same flats in school. Okay, here's something you guys don't know and definitely hard to realize: I have the SAME shoes in two pairs with a very tiny difference in a certain detail. So yeah, I might have unintentionally worn those two alternately in my outfit posts but at least to our eyes they're the same. Let's just never mind how I got to have two pairs of the same shoes. :) Come on, a pair of basic black flats goes with anything and a definitely shoe closet staple!

It's going to be our finals week next week and so that mean summer vacation is finally coming! Mini vacation for me because of my internship which will start in April. :( I'm off to see my friends in a while just to relax and chill for a bit before the hell week starts. Few more kembots til the end of my freshman year in college, yahoo! Goodluck to those who are busy completing requirements in school! Happy weekend! :)
